Eastside Community Lutheran Church

Eastside partners with an orphanage in Mazatlán, Mexico called La Ciudad de los Ninos. Several years ago we started the construction of a roof over the basketball court to provide both shade and a place to host events. This would enable the orphanage to generate income by renting out the space. By God's grace and provision it was completed! However, in 2022 a hurricane came through and severely damaged the roof. The sisters at the orphanage were devastated. In 2023 we took a team down to help complete repairs. Here are some photos to show both the orphanage and the work we accomplished.
